The Cat in the Hat!

Today, the Cat in the Hat visited our classroom and dropped off some great books and snacks! :)

We talked about a big word today: Character!  And we discussed character traits, that describe what a character is like.  We came up with some great words based on what the Cat in the Hat did and said in the story:

Then we drew our own Cat in the Hat!

Then we enjoyed some tasty treats: yogurt & strawberry parfaits!  It looked just like the Cat in the Hat's hat!  (Thank you Peralta Family!)

We continue our Dr. Seuss studies tomorrow!  I wonder who will visit next? :)
